Ezyntari quietly made his way through the streets of Kadizia, he kept each footfall silent, for though the city was relavtivly peaceful, it was the home to any rogue that had none. And the love of a rogue is in the darkness of night, where all his prfotiable talents are best put to use.
The drow kept his cloak from rustling dispite his quick pace, and his eyes ever watchful. As he made his way towards the familiar building he was even more alert, picking his way along the alley very carefully. When he reached his destination he carefully picked apart each trap, magical and physical before giving the knob a turn. However his keen ears picked up a second, almost silent click as the door slowly opened and he drew one dagger for comfort. Just as expected Ja'rex had one trap that even Ezyntari could not defuse.
He heard the whistle of the bolt as it crossed the air and Ezzy's dagger was swift, luckily swift enough this time and the bolt snapped in two, tubmling across Ezyntari's shoulder and sticking into the wall of the building across teh way. He sighed in relief and stepped inside, resetting the other traps.
Down he went through the spiraling staircase into the luxuirous casa of his good friend. He saw Jarex reclining casually in his favorite chair, not entirely suprized this time.
The drow offered a short, swaggering bow, his own roguish variation. "Dark eve this night my friend, and that's the good news" The dark elf smirked and took a seat opposite the human, the one human that Ezyntari could really relate to. "Have a drink to share? A tale to be the payment and much more if you're up for it."
Ezyntari grinned and pulled back his cowl, letting those feiry orange orbs burn openly. He measured his counterpart's every action. He knew Ja'rex was getting older and he had to be sure the man could take what was coming... this news was not any small thing by far. It might just be the biggest challenge yet.
