Anna Appleby (Applebee), (Stephen, Joseph, Joseph, Thomas) was born ca. 1763 and married 4 March 1784 at the Baptist Church in Fishkill by the pastor, Rev. James Philips, John Bookhout who was living with Isaac Vail. John served in the Revolution and lived in Fishkill and Beekman before moving to Marcellus, Onondaga Co., where he died in 1820.
His widow Anna applied for a pension 18 Mar 1839. At the time she was living in New York City at the advanced age of 76 years.
They had 2 children, William and Adaline, both living in NYC in 1839.
