I would like to know who won the raffle and why my original post asking who won was deleted from the forum.
Why are the winners being kept a secret? If this is an AWA WOW raffle all AWA members should be informed as to who won. Particularly those purchased a raffle ticket.
So will I get an answer or will this posting be deleted also?

Just a reminder to all hunters who are hunting Phipps Bend. You must harvest a doe before harvesting a buck. The Industrial Board are watching this very close, to make sure we harvest as many does as we can. The bucks are checking the does pretty heavy. Look for the rut to kick in during this muzzleloader season if the weather stays cold. Also the U.S. Forestry Servive will be in the area on Nov. 9th around 11:00 am setting coon traps. They are aware of us hunting that day and will make every attempt to not disturb our hunt. Their truck is marked with the U.S. Logo. Hunt safe and abide by the rules.

If you could legally take an either sex deer and you wanted to harvest some venison to feed your family, would you take a buck or doe?
Please answer this question and be "HONEST" with your answer.

Hello, about 6 years ago my husband had some friends come out to New Mexico from TN for a hunt. They brought him an AWA hat as a gift and he loved and still loves it, to the point where it is about to fall off his head. It is really the only hat he wears. It literally has two holes in it and he has stapled the back closure strap because it broke. Anyway I'm trying to find a way to get him a new one seeing as this one is really on its last leg. If anyone knows where I can get one please email me at jesskf01@hotmail.com.

Some of our members are asking if the AWA could serve some deer meat at our banquet as a side entree.
We have had deer and turkey in the past and it was a big hit. We let Pardner's BBQ in Piney Flats smoke a couple of deer hams and a wild turkey for the banquet a few years back.
They will smoke deer and turkey for $5.oo each. All deer hams must be deboned.
If you would like to volunteer to donate a hind quarter or turkey, please respond to this post.
We will gather them up prior to the banquet and have them all smoked at once before the banquet on March 6th..
