The following entries were found in Paver's Marriage Licences for Yorkshire for the years 1567 to 1628.

1598 Jane Appleby of Oswaldkirk,Widow married Christopher Thornton, Gent at Oswaldkirk or Kilburn.
1598 Michael Appleby married Elizabeth Smith od diocise of York at St Cuthberts York.
1598 Ann Appleby of Skelton married Richard Goodrick of Rocliff at Skelton.
1599 Edward Appleby married Cicely Tewpleye of Scarborough at Scarborough.
1599 Ann Appleby daughter of Alexander Appleby of Paull married Christopher Atkirk of Thorne, Gent at Thorngumbald, Paull or Preston.
14 June 1601 Anthony Appleby of St. Olave's York married Juliana Robinson of St Olave's Yorks at St Olave's.
1605 Christopher Appleby of Beningholme married Ann Stephenson daughter of Thomas Stephenson of Skirley parish Swine at Swine.
1610 Anna Appleby of Swine, Widow married Peter Carville of Paul at either.
1611 Jane Appleby of Humbleton married Brian Turner at Humbleton.
23 Nov 1618 Joanna Appleby of St Martins Conistreet York married John Normabell of All Saints, Pavement York at either church.
