Hi trying to track down my Wardman ancestors. I saw a picture of a Hannah Wardman on some website yesterday and dont remember where. Anyways all I know-- My grandfathers name Was Harry and my grandmothers name was Sarah Keen.Grandpop came from Leeds and Grandma from Bradford probably around 1910 or11. They were going to Australia for a honeymoon but Grandma got so seasick they never went back. Grandpop was a long distance runner and received many awards for his running. They had 3 children, my dad Norman (no middle name) deceased in 1986 and Harry James also deceased and Winnifred now 81 still residing in Pennsylvania. Grandma and Grandpop settled in Allentown Pennsylvania. My dad was named after a ship that sank. The S.S. NORMAN.I cannot find any info on that either. Then there is another Harry Wardman who came from Southampton who was the builder in Washington DC. He was my granpops great uncle or great great uncle. This Harry died in1938.. My mother Olga and Dad Norman married in 1936 in Baltimore Maryland and went to Washington DC thinking they would get a free room in the then Wardman hotel, built by the other Harry but that Harry was not there at the time. Thats all I know. Anything ring a bell. Thanks for taking time to read this. Carol Wardman Dorn
