Subject: George Walton Appleby

My Gt Gt Grandfather was Capt. George Walton Appleby, born 1835 in Durham. I believe his father's name was also George, but am not sure of his mother's name or other family members. There is a reference to being the step-son of Bobby Shafto.

George Walton married Agnes Tucker of Bermuda and they had 6 children, Reginald Woodifield (I have details on his descendants), George Walter, Louisa Constance, Leonard Shafto, Charles Herbert Tucker and Agnes.

I have extensive details on the descendants of Reginald Woodifield, however, other than the fact that Leonard Shafto married Katherine Randolph and Charles Herbert Tucker married Madeline Hester Turner, I have no information on the others or their descendants.

Any information on either the family of George Walton Appleby in Durham, or the children of George Walton Applbey would be most appreciated.
