Another lead?

I have just obtained a copy of my great grandfather's marriage certificate. He was Richard Stor Appleby who married Fanny Waites in 1877. Richard's residence at the time was Seamer. He was born in 1856/7 and his father was James Appleby, a labourer (possibly railway labourer? - I can't quite make out the writing but Richard was on the railways).

Let me know if there's any chance of a link to your Applebys.
