My father George Ernest was the son of Fredrick James and Ada (Lawson) Appleby. They had three children Amy (Joe Mounteny), Walter and Plyna (Purdy) Appleby. Fred and Ada settled in Ingersoll Ontario Canada and later lived until their passing in Simcoe, Ontario. Both Ada and Fred were very talented musically and taught lessons on piano, string and horn instruments. Both were also involved in the Salvation Army church playing in the band. Fred was in the Royal Regiment and was involved in both world wars decorated for bravery in the first and trained troops as Sargent Major. George or Ernie as he preferred had four children Janet (deceased), Nancy (me), Eric(deceased) and James (Jim). Nancy and brothe Jim live in Brantford, Ontario. Lots more if you wish
